Sturgeon’s Mill is available on a limited basis to host your group for your own private event
Our working museum offers a unique venue for a company picnic or special event. The grounds of our historic sawmill offer beautiful settings for your club or non-profit organization to spend the day in the redwoods absorbing over 100 years of sawmilling history.
Take a docent-led tour through the mill, stroll around in the beautiful Woodland Gardens, have lunch in the spacious picnic grounds, using provided BBQs and cook shack or provide your own caterer. If you wish to have a full Sturgeon’s Mill experience, we would love to fire up the boilers so your group can see every operation of our steam-powered mill turn logs into lumber. Event Rental Information
Rental of Sturgeon’s Mill grounds includes picnic grounds, cook shack, Woodland Gardens, restrooms and parking lot.
- Full day event: $1,000
- Mill operation: $400/hour (2-hr minimum)
- Refundable cleaning/damage deposit: $500
