Common question: Where do you get all of the logs from?

Some are from homeowners who remove trees on their property. Others are donated by local tree service companies.

Remember the widening project of Hwy 101 near Airport Blvd. in Santa Rosa a few years back? Caltrans donated several logs from the redwood trees removed during that process.

Redwood is our specialty. We happily accept logs, and full log donations are tax deductible. When you deliver your usable logs, we will split the lumber with you and cut your half to your specified dimensions. Pickup of logs may be available. Call or message us to learn more.
